Pot Luck Ceramics is owned and operated by the Port Alberni Fundraising Co-op. Through sales of affordable and beautiful terracotta ceramics the Co-op sets out to make profit for non-profit programs and services that improve the quality of life in the Alberni Valley (BC).

The charter of the Alberni Valley Hospice Society was signed on October 8, 1982. The staff and volunteers provide a wide variety of services to those at end of life, their caregivers, and the bereaved in our community. Ty Watson bequeathed his home (which he lived in from 1913 until his death in 1994), and a trust fund, to the Alberni Clayoquot Continuing Care Society. The Ty Watson Home Foundation was formed in 1995 and a decision was made to offer the house to the Alberni Valley Hospice Society for use as the unique palliative care facility it is today.
